- This is a presolicitation synopsis for commercial services prepared in accordance with the format in Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. Proposals are being requested to pull and install phone and data cables at various locations at NF/SG VA Medical Center Gainesville, FL 32608. A written solicitation will be issued January 26, 2011. This solicitation is being issued as a Request for Proposal (RFP). Submit only written proposals for RFP VA248-11-RP-0143. Pursuant to 38 USC 8127(d) and in accordance with Public Law 109-461, the Veterans Benefits, Health Care and Information Technology Act of 2006, this procurement is a competitive total set-aside for Service-Disabled Veteran-Owned Small Businesses (SDVOSB). The North American Industry Classification Code (NAICS) for this procurement is 237130 with a small business size standard of 33.5 per million dollars. NOTE: The Government reserves the right to award without discussions, vendors shall submit the most favorable terms. Small businesses, especially service-disabled veteran owned small businesses and veteran owned are encouraged to contract their nearest Procurement Technical Assistance Center (PTAC) if assistance is needed in preparing their quote. The web site address for the location of the nearest PTAC is http://www.sellingtothegovernment.nct. The offeror is responsible to monitor and download any amendments pertaining to this solicitation from the Federal Business Opportunities (FBO) website: http://www.fedbizopps.gov. In accordance with FAR 52.204-7, Required Central Contractor Registration and in accordance with FAR 2.101, Veterans Affairs Acquisition Regulation (VAAR) 802.101, VetBiz Registration, prospective contractors must be registered in Central Contractor Registration (CCR) and in VetBiz databases under the applicable NAICS. Firms may obtain CCR information at http://www.ccr.gov and Vet Biz information at http://www.vip.vetbiz.gov.
