******************** IMPORTANT NOTIFICATION ******************** PLEASE BE ADVISED THAT THE SUBJECT SOLICITATION NUMBER VA-244-10-RP-0166 HAS BEEN CANCELLED. A NEW PRE-SOLICITATION NOTICE, AND SOLICITATION, WILL BE POSTED FOR THIS REQUIREMENT UNDER A DIFFERENT NUMBER. ***************************************************************************** The Philadelphia VA Medical Center, Philadelphia, PA, will be soliciting proposals to furnish home oxygen supplies and services to eligible beneficiaries. The awardee shall supply all labor, equipment, materials and facilities necessary to provide the required Home Oxygen supplies and services for the Veteran Beneficiaries of the Philadelphia VA Medical Center, 3900 Woodland Avenue, Philadelphia, Pa. 19104 (PVAMC) in the Greater Philadelphia/South Jersey geographic area, for approximately 240 oxygen-using patients. Any subsequent contract will be effective for a Base period of performance, with four one-year Options to extend the contract at the Government's discretion. Services will be at such times and in such qualities as required, FOB destination within Consignee's Premises, as specified by the ordering office. The issue date of the solicitation is planned to be approximately 04/30/2010. The awarded contract will be a Fixed-Price type contract. The solicitation method will be a Full and Open competition.
