- The 355th Contracting Squadron intends to issue a sole-source procurement action with AlterG Inc for the procurement of the following service: 1. Anti-Gravity Treadmill - Model Number M320 Characteristics - Weight Capacity - 400 Pounds, Effective Body Weight Range Adjustments - 20%-100% of user's body weight; 1% increments in body weight, Speed Range - Forward - 10-12 Miles per Hour; Reverse - 0-3 Miles per Hour, Elevation - 0-15% Dimensions - Length - 94 Inches, Width - 38 Inches, Height - 74 inches, Weight - 750 Pounds Approx. (Qty 1 ea) 2. Shorts Pack - Item Number 100-007 Sizes - XS, S, M, L, XL, XXL, XXXL (Package contains one of each size) (Qty 1 ea) This requirement is conducted under FAR 6.302-1, Only One Responsible Source and No Other Supplies or Services Will Satisfy the Requirement. This is a notice of intent to award a sole source procurement action and is not a request for competitive proposals. Firms who want to challenge the sole source must submit an interest letter that demonstrates your firm's ability to provide an equivalent supply as described above. Interested parties must provide rationale as to why they should be considered. All interested firms must respond to this synopsis by Monday, 31 Jan 2011, 1600 MST to Jeremy Dedmon, 355th Contracting Squadron, 3180 S Craycroft Rd. Tucson, AZ 85707. Responses received will be evaluated; however, a determination by the Government not to compete the proposed procurement based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion for the Government. The 355th Contracting Office will not reimburse for any costs connected with providing the capability information.
