Description
The Naval Air Warfare Center Training Systems Division (NAWCTSD) has a requirement to provide maintenance support services for the Fleet Readiness Center Mid-Atlantic at Naval Air Station Patuxent River, MD (FRCMA-PAX). This acquisition will support the FRCMA in the performance of Level II and Level III aircraft maintenance associated with the airframe, avionics, engines and Aviation Life Support Systems (ALSS) for all aircraft components and Support Equipment (SE). The Contractor shall also provide maintenance support test team instrumentation and ground test periods; this support shall be limited to normal aircraft/aeronautical maintenance. Based on the Sources Sought responses submitted in June 2011, NAWCTSD seeks to purchase these services via a competitive 8(a) set-a-side. For purposes of reporting business size, the applicable North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code for this requirement is 336412 with a size standard of 1000 employees. The Product Service Code (PSC) is J015. A single award firm fixed price (FFP) contract is anticipated. The Government reserves the right to make award on initial offers without discussions. A draft Request for Proposal, Statement of work and other draft documentation for this procurement is available on the NAWCTSD business opportunities website at http://nawctsd.navair.navy.mil/EBusiness/BusOps/Acquisitions/index.cfm. Please be advised that periodic access of this website is essential for obtaining updated documentation and he latest information regarding this procurement. The RFP number for this solicitation is N61340-11-R-0039. It is anticipated that NAWCTD will host a pre-proposal conference in March 2011. The conference will be held in Patuxent River, MD at FRCMA-PAX. The purpose of the conference is to provide potential offerors with additional insights to the FRCMA-PAX maintenance facilities. The formal release of the RFP is anticipated in February 2011. NO HARD COPIES WILL BE MADE AVAILABLE. Attendance at the pre-proposal conference will be limited to two (2) representatives per firm. Pre-registration of attendees no later than 5 days prior to conference date is necessary to allow admittance of your firm into the Government facility. See Final RFP upon release for details.
