Item: 0001 NSN: 1680015264614YQ, Control Assembly P/N: 3-50813-500 Description: dim: 10.5"L, 6'W; 13'H; 5 LB; Function: Controls the fuel shutoff valves ignition circuit, engine speed, and afterburner control. Material is cast aluminum Electronic procedure will be used for this solicitation. Hardcopies will not be sent from this office. The solicitation will be available for download only at www.fbo.gov. Duration of Contract Period: A firm fixed priced multi-year contract (3 year indefinite quantity indefinite delivery contract (IDIQ)) is contemplated. BEQ for total three year period is 7 each. First year BEQ is4 each, Second year BEQ is 1 and Third year BEQ is 2. Minimum order is1 and maximum order is 4 each. The total contract maximum quantity is11 each. Delivery for initial period is 4 each on or before 19 June 2011. Destn: SW3211, TINKER AFB, OK, 73145-8000. There are no guarantees that quantities will be ordered beyond the initial order AMC Code is 4D - Acquire for the first time directly from actual manufacture rather than the prime contractor who is the actual manufacture. The government does not possess sufficient, accurate or legible data to procure the part from other than the current source. The intended source is Northrop Grumman, El Segundo, CA. It is suggested that small business firms or others interested in subcontracting opportunities in connection with the described procurement make contract with the firm(s) listed above. Specifications, plans or drawings relating to the procurement described are incomplete or not available and cannot be furnished by the Government. IAW FAR 5.207(c)(15)(ii) all responsible sources may submit a capability statement, proposal or quotation, which shall be considered by the agency, Qualification Requirements do not apply. Buy American Act/Balance of Payments Program applies. NOT A SMALL BUSINESS SET ASIDE. UID: Note to Contractor: If unit price exceeds $5,000 then UID requirements will apply. See Government wide numbered notes 22, 26 The proposed contract action is for supplies or services for which the Government intends to solicit and negotiate with only one source under the authority of FAR 6.302. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive proposals. However, all proposals received within forty-five days (thirty days if award is issued under an existing basic ordering agreement) after date of publication of this synopsis will be considered by the Government. A determination by the Government not to compete with this proposed contract based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. Information received will normally be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement. Note: An Ombudsman has been appointed to hear concerns from offerors or potential offerors during the proposal development phase of this acquisition. The purpose of the Ombudman is not to diminish the authority of the program director or contracting officer, but to communicate contractor concerns, issues, disagreements and recommendations to the appropriate government personnel. When requested, the Ombudsman will maintain strict confidentiality as to the source of the concern.
