- Sole Source Justification Throttling Gate Valve Upgrade. The solicitation number is FA8601-10-P-0150. The NAICS Code is 811219. The size standard is $7,000,000. The government intends to solicit and negotiate with one source under the authority of FAR 13.106-1(b)(1) and FAR 6.302-1(a)(2)(iii). The proposed source is Denton Vacuum, Morristown, NJ. The purchase is for a Throttling Gate Valve Upgrade for Discovery 18. Due to repairs and upgrades being proprietary to this vendor, Denton Vacuum is the only company capable of providing this upgrade. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive quotations; however, any quotation received within five (5) days of the issuance of this notice will be considered by the government. A determination by the government not to compete this proposed contract based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the government. Information received will normally be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement. Any quotations should be e-mailed to brian.long@wpafb.af.mil or faxed to Brian J. Long, ASC/PKO, 937-257-3926 no later than 1:00 p.m., Eastern Standard Time, 21 January 2011.
