- This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This procurement is being conducted under Simplified Acquisition procedures pursuant to the authority of FAR Subpart 13, Simplified Acquisition Methods, and FAR Part 12, Acquisition of Commercial Items (Title VII of the Federal Acquisition Streamlining Act of 1994 (Public Law 103-355)). This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; therefore, a written solicitation will not be issued. The National Park Service is issuing this solicitation as Request for Quotation (RFQ) Q1560110304. This solicitation is issued as a 100% small business set aside. The solicitation documents and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 2005-48. The associated North American Industry Classification system code is 423510 and the small business size standard is 100 employees. Delivery shall FOB Destination and to be delivered Monday through Friday, excluding Federal Holidays. SPECIFICAITONS: The following additional specifications are provided for each line item. 0001 - 4" x 2" x 3/16" HSS Hollow Rectangular Stainless Steel Tube, 20' Length, ASTM A269, Type 304 Stainless Steel, minimum yield strength of 42 ksi. 0002 - 6" x 2" x 3/16" HHS Hollow Rectangular Stainless Steel Tube, 20' Length, ASTM A269, Type 304 Stainless Steel, minimum yield strength of 42 ksi. 0003 - 3" x 2" x 3/16" Angle, Stainless Steel, 20' Length, ASTM A276, Type 304 Stainless Steel. 0004 - 2" x 3/16" Flat bar, 12' Length, ASTM A276, Type 304 Stainless Steel. PERIOD OF PERFORMANCE: Shall be 3 weeks from date of award. AWARD DECISION: The Government will award a contract resulting from this solicitation to the responsible offeror whose offer conforming to the solicitation is the best value to the government.
