Description
VA Medical Center, Fargo, North Dakota is seeking potential firms that have the capability for Project: 437-10-155 Canteen Floor Replacement. Contract completion is 30 calendar days after notice to proceed. This procurement is 100% set-aside for Service Disabled Veteran Owned Small Business (SDVOSB) contractors. The estimated dollar value is between $25,000.00 and $100,000.00. NAICS code is 238330 with a size standard of $14 million. A 20% bid bond is required at submission of bids. Performance and payment bonds will be required within 10 calendar days of contract award. To be eligible for award, SDVOSB must be considered small under the relevant NAICS code and must be registered and verified in the following sites: www.vetbiz.gov, www.orca.bpn.gov, and www.ccr.gov. Provide all materials, labor, equipment, etc necessary to complete Fargo VA Medical Center project 437-10-155, Renovate Food Court - Flooring in accordance with the contract documents. Work shall include, but shall not be limited to, providing all labor, material, equipment, etc necessary to removal all base cove and flooring from approximately 2,600 square feet of canteen area, vending room, elevator lobby and corridors as indicated on the drawing, repair and prepare the flooring sub-grade and install new flooring and base cove. Sub-grade issues are prevalent in the corridors and shall require significant demolition and preparation activities. Phasing and area work durations shall be strictly followed or be less than that indicated. All work shall be in compliance with all applicable life safety codes, NFPA, NEC, VA Design Guides and all other applicable codes. This solicitation is anticipated to be available on www.fbo.gov on or about January 27, 2011. Requests for solicitation documents made by telephone, fax, or e-mail will not be honored.
