Description

The Naval Air Systems Command (NAVAIR) intends to award a delivery order under N00019-08-C-0010 on a sole source basis with Sikorsky Aircraft Corporation (SAC). This effort is to provide the necessary personnel, facilities, and equipment to perform the non-recurring work required to redesign, integrate, and qualify the High Velocity Oxygen Fuel coatings into the U.S. Navy's H-60 aircraft. These non-recurring efforts will support the implementation of the changes into the production line for MH-60 Romeo and Sierra aircraft. This action is being awarded on a sole source basis to Sikorsky Aircraft Corporation (SAC), in accordance with FAR 6.302-1, only one responsible source and no other supplies or services will satisfy agency requirements. SAC alone has the proprietary technical data, experience, equipment and special skills to furnish the supplies and services within the required timeframe.
