- THIS IS A MODIFICATION TO E882211A100 - Lumber for Bridges. NOTE: This is the most recent conformed copy of this solicitation and all previous submissions of quotes will have to be re-submitted. PLEASE NOTE the Solicitation Number is changed from E882211A100 to E882211A1A0. This Modification is necessary to correct typographical errors concerning the length dimensions and the grade of lumber. As a result of this Modification, the Length Dimension for all Line Items is changed from Inches to Feet, and the grade required for Line Items 3, 4, and 5 is changed from #11 to # 1. Description of WorkThe Roads and Trails Branch of Facility Management has a requirement for the purchase of lumber for decking and rail replacement for two (2) trail bridges in Yosemite National Park that were destroyed during a high-water event on October 25, 2010. Required SpecificationsAll lumber provided must be Douglas Fir, Grade #1 or better as noted, pressure treated with alkaline copper quaternary (ACQ) to a minimum net retention of.40 pounds per cubic foot (PCF) per American Wood Preservers Association (AWPA) standard U1. Additional guidance enforcing the ban will be issued at a later date. In the meantime, please adopt and enforce policies that immediately ban text messaging while driving company-owned or-rented vehicles, government-owned or leased vehicles, or while driving privately owned vehicles when on official government business or when performing any work for or on behalf of the government.
