- Notice of Sources Sought: The United States Coast Guard (USCG) is seeking capability statements from HUBZone organizations to provide the support services listed below. The USCG intends that this effort will be 100% set-aside for HUBZone certified small businesses. This is not a solicitation or announcement of a solicitation. This is a ‘Sources Sought' action only. The purpose of this ‘sources sought' is to gain knowledge of potential qualified sources. Description of Work to Be Performed: The Coast Guard is contemplating two actions: A BPA and a task order. The BPA will providing a variety of information technology (IT) technical and administrative support services including certification and accreditation (C&A) analysis, IT security technical assurance, Office of Management and Budget Exhibit 300 Business Case support services, independent verification and validation (IV & V), and Earned Value Management Support. The intended task order will be limited to OMB 300 and EVM support for the Coast Guard Logistics Management Information System. The applicable NAICS Code is 541519 - Other Computer Related Services There are no geographical limitations for this acquisition. Information Sought: Organizations having the ability to provide the above listed services shall provide clear and comprehensive information supporting their experience, expertise, and current HUBZone certification, and GSA contract number (if applicable). In order to be considered as potential sources for these requirements, firms must have their primary business location in a HUBZone and must intend to provide at least 35% of the services by personnel based in a HUBZone. Responses should not exceed 3 pages and should clearly indicate whether the organization is able to provide capabaility for the BPA or the Task Order or both. Responses are due by 2 PM Eastern Time on January 14th, 2011, and shall be sent by e-mail to Mr. Jon Meagher at Jon.t.meagher@uscg.mil and to the Contracting officer, Laura Spillane at laura.spillane@uscg.mil. This notice is for information and planning purposes only and does not commit the Government to any contractual agreement. This is not a request for proposals. The Government does not intend to award a contract based on responses under this announcement nor otherwise pay for preparing any information sent or the Government's use of the information.
