- Description
- The Defense Information Technology Contracting Organization (DITCO), Contracting Division, Services Section (DITCO/PL8311), 2300 East Drive, Scott AFB, IL. 62225-5406, intends to issue a sole source contract to SAP Government Support and Services, Inc., 3999 W Chester Pike Bldg 1, Newton Square, PA, 19073-2305 for Systems, Applications, and Products (SAP) MaxSecure Support Services for the Navy. The software is propriety to SAP Public Services, Inc. and SAP Government Support and Services Inc. is the only company that maintains the proprietary rights to the source code, distribution rights and support services. There are no other authorized resellers of MaxSecure support for SAP software. The proposed contract action is for services for which the Government intends to solicit and negotiate with only one source under the authority of FAR 6.302-1. All responsible sources may submit a capability statement which shall be considered by the agency. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive proposals. Oral communications are not acceptable. A written solicitation is not available. All responses must be received no later than 5:00 p.m. CST, 20 January 2011 to be considered by the Government. A determination by the Government not to compete this proposed contract based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. This announcement incorporates provisions and clauses that are in effect through FAC 2005-48. The NAICS code is 541511, the size standard is $25M.
