Description
The Naval Sea Systems Command intends to issue solicitation N00024-11-R-5209 to continue professional support services in support of the Program Executive Office Integrated Warfare System (PEO IWS) Front Office and the Chief of Naval Operation, N86 (OPNAV N86). As such, the Navy intends to award a sole source Cost-Plus-Fixed-Fee (CPFF) contract with estimated total quantity of 95,544 hours to DTI Associates Inc., 2920 South Glebe Rd., Arlington, VA 22206 in accordance with FAR Subpart 6.302-1. The initial award is anticipated in 2nd Quarter FY 2011 The intended sole source effort includes continuing support services in the areas of Program Management, Business Financial Management, and Systems Engineering for the Pentagon, Navy Annex, and Crystal City locations. The contract consists of a six month base with two three-month options that will provide required services only until completion of the full and open competition for contractor support services to PEO IWS and N86, under the on-going NAVSEA SEAPORT contracting initiative. The contract will be awarded pursuant to 10 U.S.C. 2304(c)(1), only one or a limited number of responsible sources and no other type of supplies or services will satisfy agency requirements. The necessary delivery date is 2nd Quarter FY 11. Work will be performed at the contractor ™s facility and various Navy directed locations. No other responsible sources can provide these services without significant cost and schedule disruption to the professional services currently being provided. All responsible sources may submit a capability statement, proposal, or quotation which shall be considered by the agency. Award is planned in Q2 FY11.
