Description
This solicitation is for procuring replacement and installation of 80 batteries, 40 batteries each for 2 Mitsubishi Uninterruptable Power Supply (UPS) units at the Naval Air Systems Command, Patuxent River, MD, 20670. For more information on the units, please see attached Government Requirement list. This acquisition will be set aside for small business. Brand name or other compatible type batteries (reference part number SR12-340F) will be acceptable. Delivery is to NAVAIR Patuxent River, MD 20670 30 days after receipt of order. This acquisition is being issued in accordance with FAR part 13.5. This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items in accordance with FAR subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; price with quotes are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. The solicitation number is N00104-11-Q-Q404, which is a request for quotation (RFQ). This solicitation incorporates provisions and clauses that are in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 2005-36. The North American Classification (NAICS) code is 541519. Only those quotes meeting the following criteria will be considered; all or nothing; current Central Contractor Registration. This requirement is for replacement and installation of 80 batteries, 40 each in 2 Mitsubishi UPS units (see attached Government Requirement list). The following FAR Subpart 12 provisions and clauses are incorporated by reference: FAR 52.212-1, Instructions to Offerors-Commercial Items; FAR 52.212-2, Evaluation of Commercial Items (a) the Government will award a contract resulting from the solicitation to responsible whose offer conforming to the solicitation represents the lowest priced technically acceptable offer. Technical acceptability will be based on the offerors ability to provide the required items within the specified delivery time; FAR 52.212-3, Offeror Representations and Certifications-Commercial Items, (Offerors must submit a completed copy of the Representations and Certifications with their offer or be listed in ORCA); FAR 52.212-4, Contract Terms and Conditions-Commercial Items; FAR 52.212-5, Contract Terms and Conditions Required to Implement Statutes or Executive Orders-Commercial Items (a) (b) (1) (8) (20) (21) (22) (24) (e).
