Description
The Naval Air Warfare Center Aircraft Division, Lakehurst, NJ is looking to procure the following items for temperature transducers and related hardware. Also being procured are a variety of different thermocouple transducers, the cabling, and attachment devices for the thermocouples. This equipment will be used to measure a multitude of temperatures, and is part of the signal flow for the temperature measurement. Specifically, this equipment will be used to support the F-35 (JSF) compatibility with the current Jet Blast Deflector (JBD). The F-35's engine provides more thrust and heat than any previous Navy Jet and there are concerns about how this will affect the JBD; the deck in front of the JBD; the area under the JBD and area behind and around the JBD. This equipment will be used to provide the ability to collect the data that will be used to model the JBD and the area behind and around the JBD. This data provided by this equipment, and eventually the model, shall be used to determine if it is safe to put another jet behind the JBD and determine if the JBD is currently compatible with the F-35C. The items required are as follows: 1) Ungrounded, K-type Thermocouple, 1/8" diameter probe, 6" length, Armoored cable w/standard male connector, P/N TJ36-CASS-18U-6-BX-OSTW-M or equal...85 each; 2) Exposed tip, K-type Thermocouple, 1 1/16" diameter probe, 6" length, armored cable w/standard male connector, P/N TJ36-CASS-116E-6-BX-OSTW-M or equal...150 each; 3) Washer, K-type Thermocouple, armored cable w/standard male connector, P/N WTK-HD-72-OSTW-M or equal...125 each; 4) Ungrounded, K-type Thermocouple, ¼" diameter probe, 2' length, P/N KQSS-14U-24 or equal...6 each; 5) 20AWG K-type Thermocouple cable, 1,000 foot roll, silica insulation, high temperture rated to 1,800 degrees F, P/N XS-K-20 or equal...1 each; 6) 20AWG K-type Thermocouple cable, 1,000 foot roll, glass insulation, high temperature rated to 1,300 degrees F, P/N HH-K-20 or equal...39 each; 7) K-type connector, male/female pair, P/N OSTW-CC-K-MF or equal...350 each; 8) Clamp grommets for strain relief, 100 pack, P/N SSRT-CC-018-100 or equal...4 each; 9) Quck assembly tool for connectors, P/N OST-CC-TOOL or equal...5 each; 10) Stainless Steel compression fittings, 1/8" NPT male x 1/16" compression, P/N SSLK-116-18 or equal...140 each; 11) Stainless Steel compression fittings, ¼" NPT male x 1/8" compression, P/N SSLK-18-14 or equal...85 each; 12) Replacement ferrules (10 pack), 1/16", P/N SS-FER-1/16 or equal...5 each; 13) Replacement ferrules (10 pack), 1/8", P/N SS-FER-1/8...2 each; and 14) Shipping Charges (if there are any)...1 lot.
