- Description
- This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; proposals are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. In order to be qualified for this contract and to fulfill our mission, the Contractor must meet the following Minimum Essential Characteristics (MEC's). The microscope must have: o10X, 40X, 60X, and 100X objective lenses or equivalents. oDefinite Focus - integrated into software and microscope for seamless image acquisition. oColibri - high speed LED light source fully customized and controlled via software. oAn incubation unit that must be controlled via imaging software to control heat and % of CO2. oFluorescence beampath: Apochromatic correction where red, green and blue all image in the same plane. o6x Reflector turret motorized, with 200ms switching time. oImproved exchange of Push&Click fluorescent cubes without taking the whole revolver out of the microscope. oApotome - a slider, which inserts into the fluorescence beam path at the plane of the field diaphragm, and a control box to operate the slider. This slider helps to remove out of focus information and makes 3-D images much more clear. The incubation unit must have: oNew Sensor technology PT100, where Incubation is now controlled and monitored via a control panel of the microscope or via software on a PC. New automatic and rapid temperature changes possible to allow for temperature sensitive mutant experiments and heat-shock as well as cold shock mutant experiments. Control units that are stackable for space saving. Control units have markedly reduced temperature and concentration fluctuations. Upgradeability of an O2 controlled environment makes it modular and hence more economical. Microscope must be upgradeable in the field to use these other microscopic solutions: TIRF FRAP Spinning Disk LSM 700
