Description
The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers (USACE) anticipates the competitive award of a requirements contract to provide a centrally-managed source of Workers Compensation Insurance as required by the statutorily mandated Defense Base Act (DBA) Program. The requirements contract will cover all OCONUS USACE, CENTCOM Contracting Command and 408th Contract Support Brigade contracts. It is anticipated that the contractor/insurance carrier will receive a single delivery order under the resultant requirements contract for total execution and management of the program, by working directly with the USACE Contractors requiring DBA Insurance for work performed outside the Continental United States (with the exception of Hawaii and Alaska) unless a waiver has been obtained by the U.S. Department of Labor. USACE will establish the option year rates for services, construction, security and aviation based on data received from the contractor that clearly reflects the cumulative loss history. The successful offeror shall deal directly with the companies requiring DBA Insurance for payment arrangements and resolution of issues. No Government funds will be allocated under any agreement or contract governing the administration of this program. Interested parties are responsible for monitoring the Federal Business Opportunities Website for current status of solicitations and amendments. Hard copies of the solicitation document will not be available. All offerors will be ineligible for award unless they have registered in the DoD Central Contract Registration database at www.ccr.gov.
