B.Delete the removal of the second block above the flashing. C.Increase the estimated quantity of crack repair from 1,000 linear feet to approximately 1,591 linear feet. JC-001, DIFFERING SITE CONDITIONS: The 20-oz flashing is not available and 16-oz is acceptable. The block above the new flashing does not need to be removed and replaced in order to install the new flashing. The actual quantity of crack repair is greater than that shown on the contract drawings. JC-013, Delete Paint/Multiple Changes Pursuant to the clause of this contract entitled "changes", provide all plant, labor, material and equipment to: A.Delete the paint on the exterior of the building. B.Install a reinforced, translucent tarp over the entire East and West walls. Cut out for 3 doors, the louvers in the Boiler Room and the two windows in the bathrooms. Secure the tarps using 2x4 and strapping to prevent the tarp from coming off during the winter. Caulk seams, edges and openings. Remove the tarps, caulking and wood in the spring, infill holes. Provide 8 man-hours per month for 4 months, (32 man-hours total) to maintain the tarp though the winter. C.Perform fifteen (15) tests for asbestos in the existing caulking around the windows and doors on the north, south, east and west walls. Remove and abate the caulking on the Boiler Room window and louver. D.At the Boiler Room window, remove the existing bond beam and install a new lintel, block, flashing and weeps At the Conference Room window, remove the existing bond beam and install a new lintel, block, flashing and weeps. E.Remove and replace 10 damaged CMU block. F.In the Mechanical Room, remove and replace the existing shut-off valve for the exterior hydrant. JC-013, DIFFERING SITE CONDITIONS: Funding is not available for a number of differing site condition changes that have been identified upon the start of the work. Since funding is not available and the work cannot be done under normal construction practices without special construction considerations, the building is to be made safe to weather the winter and then work will recommence in the spring, with mod work upon receipt of the additional funds that have since been requested. It is understood and agreed that pursuant to the above, the contract time is affected, and the contract price is decreased as stated, which reflects all credits due the Government and all debits due the Contractor. It is further understood and agreed that this adjustment constitutes compensation in full on behalf of the Contractor and its Subcontractors and Suppliers for all costs and markups directly or indirectly attributable for the change ordered, for all delays related thereto, for all extended overhead costs, and for performance of the change within the time frame stated.
