- The Space and Naval Warfare Center, Atlantic Charleston, SC code 22581 has arequirement for (7) 18.1" Rack Mount LCD Flat Panel Displays manufactured by Aydin Displays, Inc. The Government intends to award a firm-fixed price contract on a Aydin Displays, Inc product listed below under the authority of FAR 6.302-1 Only one responsible source and no other supplies or services will satisfy agency requirements. Aydin Disply is the sole manufacturer and hold proprietary rights. The Flat Panel Display is a rack mounted, ruggedized, high-resolution video display unit meeting the fit, form, and function for the compatibility of the AN/SYQ-28 Submarine Single Messaging Solution System. Further Specifications: 19" Rack Mount (9U), Front Controls, Hinged Enclosure; Native Resolution: 1280x1024; 18.1" AMLCD, +/- 85 Viewing Angle in all directions; Input Power: +12 VDC; Special Power and VGA Video Cables; Operating Temperatures 0 to 50 C; Video Inputs: HD 15 VGA; User Controls - On Screen Display (OSD) Award is anticipated by COB 24 November 2010. Contract is to be FOB DESTINATION shipped to Receiving Officer, US NAVY, SPAWAR ATLANTIC CHARLESTON, SC, 1008 TRIDENT STREET, HANAHAN, SC 29410 and shall be marked for (M/F) as specified. ***This is a notice of intent and is not a request for competitive quotes for items other than the brand name Aydin Displays, Inc equipment listed in this synopsis***The Government will accept quotes from all responsible sources with the capability to provide the products to the brand name cited above and will award a contract resulting from this RFQ to the responsible vendor whose offer conforms to the solicitation and is considered to be most advantageous to the Government. Quotes are due to Rance Bryan, Contract Specialist, SPAWARSYSCEN, Atlantic by 1:00 p.m. Eastern Standard Time, 29 December 2010. The Government reserves the right to process the procurement on a Brand Name based upon the responses received. The Government will not pay for any information received.
