- 1660-01-226-4174 Amendment to correct NSN from: 1660-02-226-4174 to the correct NSN: 1660-01-226-4174. Item being procured is a Separator, Water, Air. NSN is 1660-02-226-4174. Dimensions are 23 inches long X 13 inches high X 13 inches in diameter. Removes moisture from bleed air within the environmental control system. Item is made of aluminum. Part Number is 195884-2-1. Applicable to the F15, AMC code is 2H. Previously purchased from Honeywell. Written procedures will be used for this solicitation. Authority: 10 U.S.C. 2304 (c) (1). Justification: supplies required are available from only one source and no other type of supplies or services will satisfy agency requirements. The proposed contract action is for supplies for which the government intends to solicit and negotiate to a single source under the authority of FAR 6.302. The only qualified source is Honeywell, International, cage code 70210. The solicitation will identify the office where additional information can be obtained concerning qualification requirements as cited in each individual solicitation. Note: Ombudsman has been appointed to hear concerns from Offerors or potential Offerors during the proposal development phase of this acquisition. The purpose of the Ombudsman is not to diminish the authority of the program director or contracting officer, but to communicate contractor concerns, issues, disagreements, and recommendations to the appropriate government personnel.
