Description

Sole Source Justification TO PROCURE: preventative/remedial maintenance and repair on the Thermo Electron LTQ FT-ICR for a base period plus 4 Option years. The NAICS Code is 811219. The Size Standard is $7,000,000.00. The government intends to solicit and negotiate with one source under the authority of FAR 13.106-1 and FAR 6.302-1.This synopsis is published for informational purposes only. Solicitation documents are not available. The proposed source is Thermo Electron North America LLC, 5225 Verona Road, Madison, WI 53711. The notice of intent is not a request for competitive quotations; however, all quotations received within five (5) days of the issuance of this notice will be considered by the government. A determination by the government not to compete this proposed contract based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the government. Information received will normally be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement. Any quotations should be e-mailed to laura.burnette@wpafb.af.mil or faxed to Laura Burnette, ASC/PKOAB, 937-656-1412 no later than 26 December 2010, 12 P.M. EST (noon).
