- This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; proposals are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. The Army Reserve Contract Center South has a requirement for a Firm Fixed Price type contract for a Yellow Ribbon Conference. Hotel services located in the following geographic area: Orlando, Florida. The synopsis/solicitation will be a Firm-Fixed price. The applicable NAICS code is 721110. In accordance with (IAW) FAR 13.003(b) (1). This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation. Additional Information: 1. Vendors are encouraged to register with the Wide Area Workflow (WAWF). Payment will be made by electronic funds transfer through Defense Finance and Accounting Service (DFAS). The offeror that is awarded the contract must follow the instructions required for electronic submission of invoices on WAWF https://wawf.eb.mil. 2. Central Contractor Registration (CCR) is required in order for an offeror to receive a Government contract, so interested offerors are highly encouraged to register. For more information on this requirement, please refer to Paragraph k of FAR clause 52.212-1, Instructions to Offerors, and/or visit www.ccr.gov. 3. This is not a solicitation for Event Planning Services. For a proposal submitted by an offeror that is not a hotel, the offeror must describe in its submital the approach for the offeror's services as a prime contractor(copy of subcontract/agreement, etc) and must also include a copy of all insurance (s) (standard business, liability, extraordinary insurances) in order to submit a complete roposal for evaluation purposes. (Again, this is not a solicitation for Event Planning Services. An offer which requires the Government to execute a separate agreement with a third party hotel shall be deemed non-responsive). 4.Offers will be evaluated as identified in FAR Clause 52.212-2, and the Addenda incorporated into this solicitation. 5.All questions pertaining to this solicitation shall be in writing and shall be emailed to Faye Jackson at faye.jackson@usar.army.mil. Telephone calls will not be accepted. All requests should include the solicitation number, company name and address, and name and telephone number of person making the inquiry.
