SOW HSV Checkout Stand 3 2 1 14 13 12 11 10 8 7 6 5 4 3 2 986 739 738 737 736 735 734 733 578 New HHT Location The Alabama Air National Guard located at Birmingham IAP ANG, Birmingham, Alabama, intends to issue an Invitation for Bids (IFB) to award a single, firm fixed-price contract for construction services, non-personal to provide for all labor, transportation, new and current materials, tools, parts, equipment, appliances, supplies, services, permits, insurance and supervision necessary to perform and complete the work in accordance with Statement of Work (SOW) dated 9 Dec 2010 for PROJECT NUMBER: P-036886-10, PLC System Repair. Magnitude of the project is between $100,000.00 and $250,000.00. Failure to submit a bid on all items shall result in rejection of the bid. Construction/contract completion time is anticipated to take approximately 60 days from notice to proceed to include inspection and punch list. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code for this work is 424710. The size standard is 100 EMPLOYEES. This action is being procured on a TOTAL SERVICE-DISABLED VETERAN-OWNED SMALL BUSINESS (SDVOSB) SET-ASIDE basis in accordance with the FAR 19.14. All responsible SERVICE-DISABLED VETERAN-OWNED SMALL BUSINESS firms may submit a bid. The tentative date for issuing the solicitation is on-or-about 4 January 2011. The tentative date for the pre-bid conference is 12 January 2011, 10:00 a.m. central time at the Birmingham ANG Base Civil Engineering, Building 700 with site inspection to follow. All interested contractors are encouraged to attend and should be aware of the requirements for admission to the base. The solicitation is scheduled to close on-or-about 8 February 2010. Actual dates and times will be identified in the solicitation. The solicitation and all associated information will be posted at www.fedbizops.gov All contractors and subcontractors interested in this project must register at this site. No telephone requests will be accepted. Interested bidders as well as plans rooms must be registered in the DoD Central Contractor Registration (CCR) database. Firms can register via the CCR Internet site at http://www.ccr.gov or by contacting the CCR Information Center at 1-888-227-2423. Interested bidders are also required to submit their representations and certifications on-line at http://orca.bpn.gov. You will need your DUNS number and CCR MPIN in order to log in to the Online Representations and Certifications Application (ORCA) website.
