- Pre-Solicitation Notice - Notice of Intent to Single Source This notice is to announce our action to issue a urgent stop gap purchase order under the authority of FAR 13.106-1(b) for Single Source. This requirement from The Veteran's Affairs, VISN 20 Contracting Division advertised as Request for Quotation (RFQ), number VA-260-11-RQ-0235A, is to provide Emergent Ground Ambulance Services (within the Local Roseburg VA Healthcare System) in Roseburg, Oregon. This stop gap purchase order will be for Firm-Fixed Price (FFP) Estimated Quantities with the incumbent, Douglas County Fire District 2. This purchase order will be for a period of 3 months with one 3 month option period, in order to enable the contracting office to execute a formal competitive solicitation and award to cover their future extended requirements. This requirement is for commercial services in accordance with the format in FAR Subpart 12, as supplemented with additional information as needed. The North American Industry Code for this procurement is 621910 for (Ambulance Services), and the size standard is $7 million. For this Stop Gap action, a formal solicitation will not be posted.
