Description
Government Furnished Equipment (GFE) BIO MED Drawings Sketch BIO MED Pictures of Installation Area Comfort This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format prescribed in Subpart 12.6 of the Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR), as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; proposals are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. The solicitation number is N40442-11-T-7147, and it is being issued as a request for quotation (RFQ). The solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 2005-46, effective 29 OCT 2010. NAICS code 238390 applies. The Small Business Competitiveness Demonstration Program is applicable. This is a small business set-aside. Military Sealift Fleet Support Command (MSFSC), Norfolk, VA intends to award a firm fixed price purchase order for USNS Comfort for the following services: The requested period of performance for the above service is 21 December 2010 to 15 January 2011. 1. Statement of Work: ABSTRACT 1.1 This item describes the requirement to replace work stations in the Bio-Med office 01-41-0. 2.0 REFERENCES/ENCLOSURES: 2.1 References: None 2.2 Enclosures: a. Sketch b. Photos of existing configuration c. List of GFM 3.0 LOCATION/DESCRIPTION: 3.1 Location: 01-41-0 Bio Med Repair 4.0 GOVERNMENT FURNISHED EQUIPMENT/MATERIAL/INFORMATION: 4.1 Government Furnished Material: a. See enclosure c 5.0 NOTES: 5.1 The contractor and all subcontractors regardless of tier shall consult the General Technical Requirements (GTRs) to determine applicability to this work item. In the performance of this work item, the contractor and all subcontractors regardless of tier must comply with the requirements of all applicable GTRs including but not limited to GTR 1 through 7. 5.2 The contractor and all subcontractors, regardless of tier are advised to review other work items under this contract to determine their effect on the work required under this work item. Many of the definitions relating to performance are found in work item 001. 6.0 QUALITY ASSURANCE REQUIREMENTS: None additional. 7.0 STATEMENT OF WORK 7.1 Contractor shall remove existing furnishings, to include but not limited to work benches, shelving units, VIDMAR style cabinets, desks and file cabinets. 7.2 Relocate eye wash station to an area shown on diagram B. This will require approx 75 linear feet of ¼" copper pipe and associated fittings. 7.3 Relocate one shop bench to an area TBD. 7.4 Assemble and install new work benches with electrical cut off switches and electrostatic discharge bench straps. 7.5 Install a new central vacuum system with hook up points at each work bench as per diagram B. 7.6 Install LP air lines to each work bench. 7.7 Fabricate and install a securing device for shop tool box and install mounting brackets for pulley puller set. 7.8 Replace approx 1457 sq feet of deck tile between frames 44 and 48. 7.9 Install a joiner bulkhead with door in area shown in Diagram B. 7.10 Rotate computer server 90 deg. 8.0 ADDITIONAL REQUIREMENTS: None Inform john.w.burke@navy.mil N43E (757) 417-4490 of the status of the job. 2.
