Description
This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; proposals are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. I. INTRODUCTION. A. This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in FAR Parts 12.6 and 13, as supplemented with additional information in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; quotations are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. B. The combined synopsis and Request for Quotation (RFQ) number is: TARENG00411 C. This solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 2005-46, effective 29 OCT 2010. D.The North American Industrial Code System (NAICS) code applicable to this acquisition is 334310 with a small business size standard of 750 employees. E.Basis for award - The U.S. Army TACOM intends to negotiate solely with Vision Technologies, 609 W Dyke Rd, Rogers, AR 72758-6442. Interested persons may identify their interest and capability to respond to the requirement or submit proposals. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive proposals. However, all proposals received before the closing date of this synopsis will be considered by the government. A determination by the Government not to compete this proposed contract based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the government. Information received will normally be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement. II.GENERAL. A.The United States Army Tank and Automotive Research, Development and Engineering Center (TARDEC) in Warren, Michigan has a requirement for the following; -Ten (10) IR Sensor J2 Right Side Pan & Tilt, 40HFOV 17 Series, Part Number- J2-4102 -Ten (10) IR Sensor J2 Left Side Pan & Tilt, 40HFOV 17 Series, Part Number- J2-4101 Projected Delivery date: 15 January 2011 Delivery Address: US Army TARDEC RDTA-EN, Bldg 200C 6501 E 11 Mile Road, Warren, MI 48397-5000 FOB: Destination B. Submittal Instructions. Quotations shall be submitted electronically to nicole.gram@us.army.mil. Quotations shall be in English (American Standard) language and denominated in U.S. dollars.
