- This synopsis is being posted to both the Federal Business Opportunities (FBO) page located at http://www.fbo.gov and the Navy Electronic Commerce on Line (NECO) site located at https://www.neco.navy.mil. While it is understood that FBO is the single point of entry for posting of synopsis and solicitations to the internet, NECO is the alternative in case FBO is unavailable. Please feel free to use either site to access information posted by the Naval Sea Systems Command. The Naval Surface Warfare Center, Dahlgren Division (NSWCDD) intends to procure on a sole source basis from L3-Communications, 2500 North Orange Blossom Trail, Orlando, Florida 32804 the following products: Eyesafe Rangefinder (ELRF3H), Housing, Acceptance Test Report, Certificate of Conformance, and Manual, Qty 1; Eyesafe Rangefinder (ELRF3H), Housing, Acceptance Test Report, Certification of Conformance and Manual, Qty 1; Graphic User Interface (GUI), Qty 2. All interested parties must quote L-3 products, substitutes will not be considered as these particular products have been modeled and tested satisfactory for the intended use for which they will be used; therefore, substitutes will not be considered as it is critical to the program that they be identical to L3. The North American Industry Classification System code is 334511, 750 employees. This procurement will be awarded using Simplified Acquisition Procedures. The order shall be firm fixed priced. FOB Destination, Dahlgren, VA shall apply. This announcement constitutes the only request for quotation; quotes are being requested and a written request for quotation will not be issued. The synopsis number is N00178-11-Q-4076 and is a Request for Quote. All responses should reference synopsis number N00178-11-Q-4076. Interested parties should submit quotes no later than December 17, 2010 by 12:00 noon. EST to the Naval Surface Warfare Center, Dahlgren Division, 6146 Tisdale Road, Suite 235, Dahlgren, VA 22448-5158.
