- This procurement is being solicited for award by SAIC-F under its contract #HHSN261200800001E for Operations and Technical support at the National Cancer Institute-Frederick, a federally funded research and development center. SAIC-F is the prime contractor charged with operations and technical support of the government owned contractor operated (GOCO) facility. Please provide a price quotation for the following items 1) 1 each Item # TGA/DCS1/SF, High Temperature Thermogravimetric analyzer with DSC includes: operating instructions, calibration kit, indium, aluminum, and gold for temperature calibration, crucible handling set, 70 L aluminum oxide crucibles (20 pcs) with removable lids, TGA demo crucible set, power cable and a LAN cable for instrument communication, MX1-TGA Micro balance, 51142095 SDTA small furnace, 110710 calibrated dual flow meter, F25MC 200 watt cryostat 2) 1 each Item # EQ-TAZ2, IQ/OQ of DSC, TGA, or TMA, service includes: all travel and labor for the installation and certification of new instruments. system will be unpacked, setup and installed by a factory-trained service engineer, instrument checks and calibrations will be performed as necessary to ensure that the system is performing to specifications and log book will be completed 3) 1 each Item # Training TA/FP, TA standard training (includes DSC, TGA, TMA, FP) one day training following the installation, specialist will spend time on-site training the users (maximum 5)how to use and take care of the system. receive one day of training immediately after installation and the training will be completed at a later date to allow the users to become familiar with the systems. Items to be covered: operation of instrument, sample preparation, analysis and interpretation of data, calibration of instrument, routine maintenance of hardware and software. also include on-site consulting time to run any desired samples and help with method development for typical samples that are to be analyzed on the instrument 4) 1 each Item # TA-SW Silver, 51142485, StARe Silver package Includes the capability to perform the following evaluations: onset, endset, peak integration, peak temperature, step calculations, data tables, curve min and max, and normalization to sample size (W/g or %) curves can be plotted vs. time, reference temp or sample temp. Includes: Base software, routine experiment and method editor, advanced mathematics, advanced method window, advanced experiment window, install plus+, user rights, automatic result evaluation with pass/fail determination, conditional experiment termination, advanced report generator, flexcal Specifications: 1) Must have the capability to measure the heat flow (DSC signal) from transitions in nanoparticle samples, i.e. liposome, as well 2) Must have the following capabilities: upgradable modularity, 50 million resolution points measured continuously, and cryostat cooling 3) The catalog numbers listed are Mettler Toledo Inc. 4) Offerors are requested to quote on the items as specified or an equivalent. For an equivalent, complete specifications and/or descriptive literature will be provided with the response. Offerors are requested to indicate any differences for the specifications listed. Failure to provide complete information may cause offer to be non-responsive. 5) Offerors offering alternate items may be required to provide a demonstration of their items prior to acceptance. 6) Installation of this equipment will be required as a part of any purchase order or contract issued as a result of this solicitation. 7) Warranty shall commence upon date of installation, integration, validation, and/or final acceptance. Warranty period shall be _____ months, including parts, labor and travel. 8) SAIC-Frederick, Inc. is eligible for Federal Supply Schedule pricing. 9) All offers must be F.O.B destination 10) Any shipping charges msut be identified and listed on the response for evaluation. 11) Partial offers will not be accepted. 12) Award of this solicitation may be made without discussion 13) Offeror agrees to make delivery of the quoted items in ______ days after receipt of order 14) Travel Expenses The contractor may be reimbursed for per diem based on the maximum per diem rates issued in the FTR.
