- Description
- An oral request for quotation will be solicited for the following items: NSN: 8340-01-331-0152; Window Wall, Green, Modular Command Post; 400 each NSN: 8340-01-333-4718; Plain Wall, Green, Modular Command Post; 150 each, NSN: 8340-01-331-3303; Entrance Way/Window Wall Liner, Modular Command Post; 400 each These items are to be manufactured in accordance in accordance with MIL-DTL-44400A, dated 7 April 2000. This solicitation will be a Total Small Business Set-Aside. The destinations for all three items are SG2 (Defense Distribution Depot, Barstow, CA) and AN5 (Defense Distribution Depot, New Cumberland, PA. The Window Wall, Green will be due in two incremental deliveries being due 120 days after date of award and the final delivery being due 150 days after date of award. The Plain Wall, Green will be due in one delivery being due 150 days after award. The Entrance Way/Window Wall Liner will be due in two incremental deliveries being due 150 days after award and the final delivery being due 180 days after award. One First Article Sample for each NSN will be due 75 days after date of award. Specifications or other applicable documents can be obtained by contacting Kim Hartzell by e-mail at kimberly.hartzell@dla.mil or by phone at 215-737-5141 until December 23, 2010. Written quotations will be requested simultaneously with this announcement until January 3, 2011. DFARS clause 252.211-7006 "Radio Frequency Identification" applies to this solicitation. The Defense Appropriations and Authorization Acts and other statutes (including what is commonly referred to as "The Berry Amendment") impose restrictions on the DoD's acquisition of foreign products and services. Generally, Clothing and Textile items (as defined in 252.225-7014), including the materials and components thereof (other than sensors, electronics, or other items added to, and not normally associated with clothing), must be grown, reprocessed, reused, melted or produced in the United States, its possessions or Puerto Rico, unless one of the DFARS 225.7002-2 exceptions applies.
