The RFP is expected to be released the week of 12 December 2010 via the Federal Business Opportunity (FedBizOpps) web page at www.fbo.gov. Hard copies of the solicitation and specification will not be issued. It is incumbent upon offerors to monitor the FedBizOpps web page for RFP release and all subsequent amendments. The NAICS is 336612 (Boat Building). The USCG intends to conduct the solicitation as a competitive small business set-aside, with award being made to the responsible offeror whose proposal contains the combination of those criteria offering the best overall value to the Government using the tradeoff continuum in accordance with FAR 12.602(c). Please direct all inquiries to the Contract Specialist, Jennifer Sokolower via e-mail at CG-9123BoatBuy@uscg.mil. Contractors doing business with the Government are required to register in the Central Contractor Registration (CCR) database before they can be awarded a contract.
