Description
The IRS Small Business/Self Employed (SB/SE) Operating Division will host a hotel informational meeting on Thursday, January 20, 2011 from 9:00 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. PST. The purpose of this meeting is to seek general information regarding national sales protocol within the various hotel chains. This meeting will be used solely for information gathering and planning purposes. Please be advised that this meeting will not result in any Request for Procurement (RFP) or contract awards. Participation is strictly voluntary and will not affect any future interactions. All attendees will be responsible for their own travel costs. All companies interested in attending this meeting must pre-register utilizing the steps listed below. The deadline for registration is close of business, Monday, January 3, 2011. Walk-in registration will not be available. Hotel chains that have a national presence will be given priority in the registration process (limit two per company). This meeting is limited to 30 people. This meeting will only solicit information directly from the hotel chains. This is not a special notice for Event Planning Services or 3rd Party Event Planning Services. The Internal Revenue Service (IRS) will not accept registration submitted by a company that is not a hotel. The meeting will take place in the Laguna Niguel Federal building located at 24000 Avila Road, Laguna Niguel, CA 92677 in room 2406 (Oceanside room). You will be required to show a picture identification to gain access into the Federal Building. Free parking is available in the lots outside the Federal Building. Lunch will be on your own. However, there is a small on site cafeteria as well as other eating facilities within walking distance. To register, please send an email to Chris.S.Bunn@irs.gov. Please include the following information in your email: 1.Name of person(s) attending 2.Company Name 3.Position title held at company for each attendee 4.Company address, including address, city, state and zip code 5.Company phone number 6.Company fax number 7.Company email address for each attendee 8.Approximate number of hotels within company nationwide 9.Approximate number of these nationwide hotels the identified attendee represents Information received will be used as registration information to provide confirmations and the development of the attendee listing.
