- Description
- RFI Interested parties are requested to submit (with rationale) a summary of their expertise, capabilities and facilities that will allow them to sustain the AN/FMQ-19 Automatic Meteorological System in digital format. Interested parties are also asked to provide the following additional information: (1) Identify current capability and experience with such efforts; include dates that such efforts have been performed. Such efforts would include experience with installation or maintenance of weather reporting equipment for DoD agencies, U.S. Government, State agencies (FAA, NWS, DOT, NSF, others), Foreign civil Government agencies, military branches, or any other pertinent experience. (2) Supporting rationale that your company possess, soon will possess, or have/will-have a formal business relationship with an entity that does possess, all of the following: data, drawings, and other technology that are necessary for meeting the requirement(s) identified above, and which the Government will not be providing. (3) Identification (with rationale) of whether a firm-fixed-price pricing arrangement is not appropriate for any portion of the requirements; (4) Company's size and identification of any small business socio-economic program that the company falls under given the NAICS code identified in this Sources Sought Synopsis/Request for Information; (5) If company identifies itself as a small business in response to (4), verification that at least 50 percent of the cost of contract performance incurred for personnel would be expended for employees of the company submitting a proposal; (6) Identification (with rationale) of whether your company would intend to utilize professional employees (as defined by the Services Contracting Act and part 541 of title 29, Code of Federal Regulations (as of July 30 1976 and any subsequent revisions); (7) Verification that your company views this effort as commercial in nature. If not, provide rationale as to why it views it as non-commercial. (8) Responses shall be no more than 10 pages. (9) Feedback on whether or not the NAICS code identified on top page of this RFI is appropriate or suggestions with supporting rationale as to why it isn't appropriate.
