- This is a sources sought announcement, a market research survey for written information only. This is not a solicitation announcement. No reimbursement will be made for any costs associated with providing information in response to this announcement or ay follow-up information requests. No telephone calls will be accepted requesting the solicitation. In order to protect the procurement integrity of any future procurement, if any, that may arise from this announcement, information regarding the technical point of contact will not be given. This notice does NOT constitute a request for proposal, request for quote, or invitation for bid. The intent of this notice is to identify potential offerors for market research purposes to determine if commercial sources are available. Procurement of Slow Moving Vehicles: The Naval Facilities Engineering Command Europe Africa and Southwest Asia is seeking sources that can provide the following requirement for this acquisition of Porter Panel Electrical Vans and Cargo Trucks for the Public Works Departments of Naples and Sigonella, Italy. In addition this requirement includes delivery at two different locations. -11 Porter Panel Electric Cargo Vans to be delivered to PW Naples, Italy. -2 Porter Panel Electric Cargo Vans to be delivered to PW Sigonella, Italy. -3 Electrical Cargo Trucks to be delivered to PW Sigonella, Italy. The specifications for the vehicles are attached. The Request for Quote is anticipated to be issued on 15 January 2011. Please provide confirmations of interest to maria.jensen@eu.navy.mil Anticipated date by which delivery to PW Naples and PW Sigonella shall be no later than 31 March 2011. Procurement Method: Solicitation for Commercial Items. The NAICS Code for this procurement is 441229 and the annual size standard is $6.5 Million. Estimated cost: $250,000.00 to $500,000.00. This is a new procurement. It does not replace an existing contract. Offerors can view and/or download the solicitation, and any attachments, at https://www.neco.navy.mil/ when it becomes available. Interested parties should respond to this sources sought no later than 122910 10:00 CET. 17. Place of contract Performance: Naval Support Activity Naples and Naval Support Activity Sigonella.
