Description

Marine Corps Western Regional COMS Contract: The government is issuing this Request For Information (RFI) as a Competitive 100 percent Small Business (SB) Set-Aside to solicit information for the Marine Corps Systems Command (MARSYSCOM) for Contractor Operation and Maintenance Services (COMS) with full supply support for Training Ranges/Devices at: Marine Corps Base (MCB) Camp Pendleton, CA; MCAS Miramar, CA, MCB Okinawa, Japan, MCAS Iwakuni, Japan; and MCB Hawaii. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code is 561210- Facilities Support Services. The Contractor shall provide all labor, materials, consumables, equipment, tools and test equipment, and transportation necessary to maintain the training ranges, systems, and devices in a fully operational condition. The anticipated COMS contract will be a firm-fixed-price (FFP) service contract awarded on a low-price, technically acceptable basis. Initial award will be for a period beginning 01 June 2011 for all requirements. This effort is a follow-on effort to contract M67854-06-C-8011. A Pre-Proposal Conference Site Visit is scheduled at MCAS Miramar/MCB Camp Pendleton (11 Jan 2011 “ 14 Jan 2011); with follow on Site Visits at MCB Hawaii (17 Jan 2011) and MCB Okinawa (19 Jan 2011 “ 20 Jan 2011). Parties interested in attending the Pre-Proposal Conference/Site Visits must complete all required visit request paperwork as outlined below and return the required forms PRIOR TO 17 December 2010 to Janet Fondriest at: janet.fondriest@usmc.mil (Contract Specialist), Phil Boettjer at: phillip.boettjer@navy.mil and Blake Shackelford at: christopher.shackelf@usmc.mil. Details will be provided electronically to interested parties. The government intends to a release a Draft RFP approximately 22 December 2010. This document and all future documents shall be available for download via http://www.fedbizopps.gov/ and https://www.neco.navy.mil/ This RFI does not constitute a solicitation and should not be construed as a commitment of any kind by the US Government to issue a solicitation or ultimately award a contract. No entitlement to payment of direct or indirect costs or charges by the Government will arise as a result of contractor submission of responses to this notice or the Government ™s use of such information. The Government reserves the right to reject, in whole or in part, any contractor ™s input resulting from this notice. No contract will be awarded from this announcement.
