- SYNOPSIS Design/Build: Auburn Federal Building LED Lighting Upgrade - Phase II; Federal Acquisitions Service The General Services Administration (GSA), Public Buildings Service (PBS), Design and Construction Division, Northwest Arctic Region, (Region 10) has been given the opportunity to be a leader in Green Technology within the GSA; specifically in the areas of "Light Emitting Diode" (LED) lighting technology. LED Lighting Upgrade - Phase II: Federal Acquisition Service (FAS) will research LED possibilities that best serve a large open office area, conference rooms, and private offices. The purpose of the project will be to identify and evaluate advantages and disadvantages of LED technology using lifecycle cost/benefit analysis and tenant experience. Results will be applied to subsequent build out of office space projects within the regional complex and other GSA properties. Services required for this project include lighting design/build services, budget analysis-estimates, lighting calculations, specifications, and the ability to present the aforementioned services to a small group. The magnitude of construction is between $100,000 and $250,000. The Design-Build solicitation will be posted on FedBizOpps on or about December 16, 2010.
