Description
This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; proposals are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. The California Army National Guard has a requirement to purchase the rental of a 4 stall toilet trailer with 2 men's and 2 women's stalls. Trailer must have flushing toilets, urinal in men's bathroom in addition to 2 toilet stalls, hot/cold running water, must be self contained, with trash receptacles, interior lights, exterior lighting, mirror at sink, air conditioning and heating, and weekly service pumping and cleaning of all interior fixtures and surfaces. Trailer must have clearly posted sign that reads "non-potable water." Trailer is to be delivered for use in Los Alamitos, CA zip code 90720. Rental and service period to be a standard 12 month year. Proposals to itemize rental of trailer and weekly services separately. The following FAR clauses are hereby incorporated: 52.212-5 Contract Terms and Conditions Required to Implement statutes or executive orders-commercial items; 52.249-1 Termination for the convenience of the Government; 52.249-8 Default (Fixed-price supply and service); 52.252-2 Clauses Incorporated by reference; 252.212-7001 Contract Terms and Conditions required to implement statutes or executive orders applicable to Defense acquisition of commercial items. Period of performance is to be a one year period from the date of the contract forward. Invoicing is to be done monthly. This purchase is set aside for bid by small business only. All vendors must be registered in the Central Contractor Registration (CCR). Quotes are due no later than 10:00 am PST on Friday, 17 December, 2010 and may be e-mailed to jeannie.r.thornton@us.army.mil.
