Description

The US Fish and Wildlife Service (USFWS), National Conservation Training Center (NCTC) in Shepherdstown, WV intends to award a purchase order to Thompson Reuters for continued access to backfiles from 1985 - current of Web of Science/Science Citation Index, BIOSIS, and Zoological Record Databases under the Web of Knowledge - Web of Science platform for a one year period. It will provide for all USFWS nationwide unlimited licensed access to the aforementioned databases from 1 January 2011 to 31 December 2011. The USFWS will own the data and have a citation index as part of our permanent digital archive. The proposed contract action is for supplies or services for which the Government intends to solicit and negotiate with only one source under the authority of FAR 13.106-1(b). This notice of intent is not a request for competitive proposals, however, all proposals received within 15 days after the date of publication of this notice will be considered by the USFWS. A determination by the USFWS not to compete with this proposed contract based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the USFWS. Information received will normally be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement.
