58- Remote Connectivity Technology for Remote Weapon Station Synopsis: Remote Connectivity Technology for Remote Weapon StationSources Sought/Request for Information (RFI) Announcement This Sources Sought Notice is a Request for Information (RFI) ONLY and shouldnot be construed as a Request for Proposal (RFP) or a commitment by the U.S.Government. The JM&L LCMC Contracting Center, in support of the ProjectManager Crew Served Weapons, is seeking information from organizations thatpossess mature remote connectivity technology. Specifically, the US Army isinterested in providing a mature remote connectivity capability to interfacewith its current inventory of remote weapons stations. The desire is to mountweapons stations at several locations, either fixed or mobile, and have themlinked with a command and control center at distances upward of 1500 meters. The technology should be mature Commercial Off-The-Shelf and ready forintegration with the currently fielded US Army remote weapons stations. The technology should be a wire-based technology. At this point the US Army isinterested in controlling one or multiple weapons stations from one remotecontrol station. Vendor Questionnaire: The purpose of this questionnaire is to obtaininformation from industry to assist in the market research. Firms/companiesare invited to indicate their interest and capability to satisfy the aboverequirements by identifying the following items: 1.Company Name2.Company Address / Country Represented / Website3.Company point of contact and phone number4.Business Size (Small/Large & Number of Employees)5.NAICS Code / CAGE Code / DUNS Number6.Commerciality:a.( ) Our product as described above, has been sold, leased or licensedto the general pubicb.( ) Our product as described above, has been sold in substantialquantities, on a competitive basis, to multiple state and local government.The development of the product was done exclusively at private expensec.( ) None of the above applies. Explain. 7.Please provide any additional commentsIf your company or organization has an existing commercially available or non-developmental item that meets these requirements, please provide brochures orother information relative to the performance, maintenance, and physicalcharacteristics (i.e. size, weight, etc.) of the product to the POC listedbelow.
