- Description
- The Military Fleet Support Command has an urgent requirement for the upcoming Regular Overhaul and Dry-Docking Availability of the USNS ERICSSON (T-AO 194). The period of performance for this requirement is to commence on or about 31 January 2011 for a period of Fifty Five (55) days. This requirement will be solicited on an un-restricted full an open basis to any offeror with an available dry-dock capable of satisfactorily completing the requested availability within the timeframe solicited with Justification for Urgency to follow. Major work items include: CLEAN AND GAS FREE TANKS, VOIDS AND COFFERDAMS, HAZARDOUS WASTE DISPOSAL, CARGO TANK PRESERVATION, KINGPOST SUPPORT BRACKLET T-ALT 0819, POTABLE WATER TANK PRESERVATION, TANK DECK OVERHEAD PRESERVATION, ENGINE ROOM SUPPLY VENTALATION ROOM PRESERVATION, REPLACE SURFACE SEARCH RADAR SYSTEM T-ALT 0879, INSTALL FORWARD MOUNTED SURFACE SEARCH RADAR T-ALT 08-001, AND HULL CLEANING AND PAINTING. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) Code is 336611. This is a firm fixed price contract for a period of 55 days. In accordance with the provisions of DFARS 252.204-7004, REQUIRED CENTRAL CONTRACTOR REGISTRATION, offerors must be registered in the Central Contractor Registration (CCR) database. Lack of registration in the CCR database on part of the offeror will make an offeror ineligible for award. Offerors and contractors may obtain information on registration and annual confirmation requirements by calling 1-888-227-2423 or via the Internet at http://www.ccr.gov. The Government anticipates NO extension to the closing date. The Government anticipates NO extension to the cutoff date for clarifications beyond the date specified in the Request for Proposal. The Government reserves the right to award on initial proposals with NO discussions. The estimated issued date for this solicitation is 2 December 2010 with an estimated closing date of 16 December 2010. Upon issuance, the solicitation, drawings and all required supporting documentation will be posted and can be found on FedBizOps under solicitation number N40442-11-R-1050.
