Description
The Market Survey is a follow-on to Life Cycle Software Support RFI Solicitation Number W15P7T-10-R-T201. The Solicitation Number has been changed to W15P7T-11-R-S601. All interested parties should respond to this Market Survey. This market survey seeks to identify potential sources to provide full life cycle support to SEC projects. The Software Engineering Center's (SEC) mission is to provide life cycle software solutions and services that enable Warfighter superiority and information dominance across the Enterprise. SEC performs this mission through assistance provided by contractors which augment SEC in achieving its mission requirements. Accordingly, the services to be acquired under the proposed acquisition are necessary in order for the SEC to perform its life cycle software engineering and support mission and to assist in achieving SEC's vision of being recognized as the Center of Excellence for providing software solutions and services within the Army Command, Control, Communications, Computers, Intelligence, Surveillance and Reconnaissance (C4ISR) community, across the Department of Defense, and potentially civilian agencies. Further, this acquisition is required to provide software and systems engineering, and technical services to enable the SEC to continue to provide essential support for assigned C4ISR Systems (weapon, logistic and business systems), associated programming support environments, and other software technology initiatives, which improve the Army's ability to provide quality software solutions within a system of systems environment for Warfighters operating in the Battlespace, while maintaining the highest levels of interoperability and maintainability for the way forward. Draft PWS is posted on the CECOM Life Cycle Management Command Interactive Business Page (IBOP) with this Market Survey. Interested sources should request access to the IBOP web page at, https://abop.monmouth.army.mil. Help with the IBOP site can be obtained from the web site or by calling (732)-427-1663.
