Description

The Smithsonian Institution (SI) intends to contract with a firm to provide: Preventive Maintenance (PM), Emergency Repairs and Permanent Repairs for all Building Envelope components of SI buildings, including but not limited to Roof, Skylight and Facade. The contractor shall provide all supervision, labor, equipment and materials to perform all phases of the work as well as to verify all repairs are complete and watertight. This project is for all SI buildings located in Washington, DC, Maryland, Virginia and New York. It is anticipated that a contract will be awarded for one base year with nine potential option years. This Request for Proposal (RFP) will consist of two parts. Part 1: Technical Proposal in which the Offerors establish their qualifications in accordance with the following Evaluation Standards: (1) Firm's Experience and Past Performance; (2) Key Personnel and Subcontractors. Part 2: Evaluation of price proposals. Contractors must be registered in the Central Contractor Registration (CCR) prior to award.
