Description
This is a Request for information (RFI) for market research purposes. A solicitation is not being issued at this time and this notice shall not be construed as a commitment by the Government, nor does it restrict the Government to a particular acquisition approach. This RFI is being published to identify potential sources capable of providing Financial Management specialists with experience in the financial application, General Fund Enterprise Business System (GFEBS). The location will be at Fort Sam Houston, TX. This position is being utilized in the Resource Management Office where legacy applications are being used and to assist the office to deploy to the new financial application GFEBS. Considerations should be identified whether or not if the specialist has been part of budget office where GFEBS has been deployed and/or at least worked GFEBS at minimum of one year. This Financial Management specialist must know processes within the budget arena. These processes are not limited to journal vouchers, cost transfers, processing disbursements and collections, construct a line of accounting, Military Interdepartmental Purchase Request (MIPR), processing fund accounting documents (FAD), processing travel requests, and processing service, personnel, equipment, and supply purchase requests to include commit or obligate funds from a financial document in the appropriate financial application. Currently, working hours are Monday through Friday with the standard 40-hour week with 8-hour days. Assuming your organization is interested in providing this service, this position requires a US Secret facility clearance which requires a US Secret Clearance. Interested parties are requested to submit a statement of capability. The statement of capability shall include and shall not exceed 10 pages: 1.Contractor Name a.Address b.Point of Contact (POC) c.POC phone numbers and email addresses d.Cage code (Reminder: This position should not only be filled by a financial management specialist, but is required to have a minimum one year GFEBS experience.)
