Description
The Naval Sea Systems Command (NAVSEA) has a requirement for a bridge contract to continue professional support services in support of Program Executive Office (PEO) Integrated Warfare Systems (IWS) Executive Front Office and the IWS Deputy Assistant Secretary of the Navy (DASN) SHIPS pending award of the follow-on SeaPort task order under a separate SeaPort solicitation, N00024-10-R-3057. As such, NAVSEA intends to award a sole source contract to Alion Science and Technology, 1100 New Jersey Avenue, S.E., Washington, DC 20003. The Cost Plus Fix Fee contract will be for continuing professional support services of PEO IWS ™s highly interrelated product lines in the task areas of: program office executive services support, financial management services support; and acquisition and program management services support while a separate competition for these requirements is taking place. The contract will also include a requirement for Not Separately Priced Data and Other Direct Costs on a Cost only basis. The contract will consist of a two month base performance period for approximately 8,902 man hours with three two month options of approximately 4,451 man hours per month. Anticipated award is early 2rd Quarter GFY 2011. The contractor is expected to begin work upon award. The contract will be awarded pursuant to 10 U.S.C. 2304(c)(1). Only one or a limited number of responsible sources and no other type of supplies or services will satisfy agency requirements.
