Description
Statement of Work Preaward Questions Site Maps Davis Bacon IFB The Federal Emergency Management Agency is issueing an Invitation for Bid (IFB) for the restoration of Schreiber Field Community site. Project work includes but is not limited to the general removal, excavation, reinstallation and repair of those items identified by the Government in the SOW, and shall leave in place those items designated to remain on site. The contractor shall remove and dispose of all debris at an off-base location or landfill in accordance with local, state and federal regulations and procedures. To be eligible for award of this project, bidders must attend a mandatory organized site visit on the morning of 2 December 2010. Meeting location is the site. The procurement is full and open with local area preference.The estimated price is between $100,000 and $300,000. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) Code is 237990. The solicitation, including specifications and all other documents related to this procurement, are available on the Federal Business Opportunities website (www.fbo.gov) 19 November 2010. All responsible sources may submit a bid which shall be considered by the agency. The tentative date for opening bids is 4 January 2011. Work is tentatively scheduled to begin on 11 January 2011 and all submittals are required prior to commencement of work. The estimated date for completing contract performance is 17 February 2011. It is the responsibility of interested parties to monitor this site for the solicitation and amendments. Questions concerning this synopsis should be directed to the following individuals: Dana Hibler, Contract Specialist, at dana.hibler and Andrea Tubbs, Contracting Officer, at andreaT.Tubbs@dhs.gov. 1. The solicitation, including specifications and drawings related to this procurement, have been posted. 2. A mandatory organized site visit is specified in the solicitation. Given the complex and urgent nature of this project, bidder attendance at the organized site visit is MANDATORY. The Contracting Officer will record names of all firms and individuals attending the site visit to confirm bidders are in compliance with this requirement. The organized site visit has been scheduled for Thursday, 02 December 2010 at 10:00 a.m. Participants will meet at the project site. (See "Organized Site Visit Map" included in the solicitation.)
