- This is an Amendment to a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in FAR Subpart 12.6, and is supplemented with additional information included in this notice. The purpose of this Amendment is to extend the response due date from 11/18/10 to 11/23/10 at 12:00 pm. This Amendment also provides the following questions and answers received regarding this requirement, and advises interested parties the link on the EPA website (listed in the earlier posted solicitation) has been fixed. 1.Are there any packaging requirements for existing tabletops upon removal?A: While there are NO packing requirements, the Government expects the selected vendor to use due care so that the tabletops are not damaged in transport and installation. 2.Is the EPA aware of any ?equal? products?A: This is not a determination that the Government can make for the vendors. You must choose which product to quote based on the listed salient characteristics. 3.Will a final inspection be conducted once installation is complete & debris is removed?A: Yes 4.Is a cover page required on the quote? Is an executive summary required on the quote?A: The information that is required to be included with the quote is provided in the combined synopsis/solicitation. 5.Shall the quote include a prompt payment discount?A: This is left up to the quoter?s discretion. 6.Is a commercial price list required with the quote?A: We just ask that you provide your best price with your quote. 7.Will quotes be evaluated based on considerations other than lowest price?A: Evaluation information for the quotes is provided in the combined synopsis/solicitation. 8. Is any priority given to Veteran-Owned businesses?A: Evaluation information for the quotes is provided in the combined synopsis/solicitation. 9. Where is the cafe located?A: Ground floor of Building C, approximately 500? from the loading dock. 10.How many stairs from the loading dock to the Cafe?A: There are no stairs between the loading dock and the Cafe 11.Is there a lift or ramp at the loading dock?A: Yes, there is a lift and a ramp at the loading dock 12.What Warranty terms are required?A: Any required warranty information is included in the combined synopsis/solicitation, to include its clauses.
