- Description
- The Naval Air Warfare Center Weapons Division, China Lake, CA intends to procure on a competitive basis, Radar Transmitting Sets (RTS) and Engineering, Technical and Repair support services in accordance with the NAWCWD Statement of Work, NAWCWD Performance Specification 13672-ATS640F, and Drawing 1236AS2502. The RTS is an airborne pulse modulated radar threat signal simulator. The RTS shall consist of a single integrated power supply / modulator assembly with appropriate magnetron(s). Due to unique vehicle mounting constraints, specific form factor, weight and prime power consumption requirements are imposed. The RTS shall be a single water tight unit capable of salt water immersion without damage. The RTS are integrated with other countermeasures or emitter modules to complete required system configurations. These RTS are installed in systems that are used to evaluate U.S. weapons systems and train Fleet operators. Pricing of the Transmitter units, Evaluation and Repair shall be on a Firm Fixed Price (FFP), Indefinite Delivery, Indefinite Quantity (IDIQ) basis and pricing for the Engineering Support services shall be on a Cost basis. Contract award may be made on a First Article Required or First Article Waived basis for these items. The government reserves the right to waive First Article for RTS that have been previously delivered by an offeror and accepted by the Government within the last two years. A minimum of 1 RTS unit will be ordered at contract award, and a maximum of 126 units total may be ordered over the five-year period of performance. Delivery of all units shall be FOB Destination to Naval Air Station, Point Mugu, CA beginning no later than 300 days after the effective date of the delivery order at a rate no less than 4 units per month. This requirement is 100 percent Set-Aside for Small Business. All responsible sources may submit a proposal, which shall be considered by the agency.
