- This is a Sources Sought Notice and should not be construed as a solicitation announcement. The purpose of this notice is to gain knowledge of potential qualified businesses concerns capable of performing construction, design-build, renovations, emergency repairs, spare parts, and minor services at various Government of Egypt facilities and installations in the Country of Egypt. Minor construction and renovation will comprise the heaviest concentration of the work. This is Phase IV of Pacer Forge Facility Support in Egypt. A Single Award Task Order Contract (SATOC) will be issued. It is anticipated a fixed price construction contract will be awarded. Fixed price task orders will be issued to perform specific functions at site(s) identified. There is a possibility some of the task orders could be issued as cost plus fixed fee. The period of performance is a base period of twelve months and four option periods of twelve months each. The contract term will not exceed five years. Since all of the work will be performed outside of the continental U.S., no set asides or socioeconomic preference will be granted. The contract will have a $100,000,000.00 ceiling for five years. The guaranteed minimum amount for each year has not been established. This is restrictive competition, Government of Egypt, Foreign Military Sales project. Awards and solicitations will be limited to U.S. firms, or U.S. and Egyptian firms, that are in a joint venture and registered within the United States. Response Requirements: Interested firms are invited to submit a Statement of Capability (SOC). The SOC must identify (a) at least two (2) contracts (including current point of contact information) in which the interested firm served as either the prime contractor or a subcontractor (performing a substantial portion of the work described above) providing facility support in an overseas environment, especially in the Middle East; and (b) years of company experience providing facility support in that environment. The SOC must contain a cover letter including the company name, address, point of contact, telephone, facsimile, e-mail address, and business classification. The SOC must be submitted in writing.
