Description
An Industry Day is scheduled for Wednesday, December 1, 2010 beginning promptly at 0900/9:00 a.m. EST. Agenda: 0830 “ Sign-in 0900 “ Introductory Remarks by the Procuring Contracting Officer (PCO) 0930 “ Technical brief by the ROTHR Program Office (RPO) 1015 “ Draft Solicitation Overview 1100 “ Time for generating and submitting written questions -Break for lunch 1300 “ Reconvene and provide all available answers 1430 “ Concluding Remarks Location: Building 310 Auditorium Forces Surveillance Support Center (FSSC) 1298 Olympic Blvd Chesapeake, VA 23322 Driving directions are included as an attachment to this notice. Attendees with an official Government vehicle sticker AND a Government issued CAC card may proceed through the gate to Building 310. Open parking is available at that location. All others attendees who do not possess both an official Government vehicle sticker AND a Government issued CAC card may not enter the Base with their vehicle. These attendees will be met at the Pass & ID Office parking lot by a FSSC representative and transported via bus or van to Building 310. The Pass & ID Office is a small single story beige building located on the left side of the road as you begin your approach to the gate. Make your first left turn to enter the parking area next to the Pass & ID Office and park your vehicle. A FSSC representative will arrive at the Pass & ID Office at 0815/8:15 a.m. to transport all attendees to Building 310. If you plan to attend the Industry Day, you are required to pre-register via email or fax to the FSSC point of contact, Ms. Debra Sims at debra.sims1@navy.mil or Fax (757) 421-8416 no later than close of business on Tuesday, November 23, 2010. Requests received after this date may be denied. Successful registration will be confirmed via a responding email and failure to register will prohibit admittance. Please provide Ms. Sims with your company name, no more than three (3) representatives ™ names, and contact phone numbers/emails. Please also indicate if you require transport from the front gate so that this can be facilitated. If you do not indicate your need for transport, it may not be accommodated on the morning of the Industry Day. Additional information regarding a draft of the RFP is forthcoming.
