Description
Brand Name Justification Request For Quotes This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; proposals are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. The requirement is for Appleton Marine Hydraulic Swivel and Drive Pins. The solicitation number is WE133M-11-RQ-0080, and is issued as a RFQ. The solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 2005-40. This action is a Total Small Business Set-aside, for NAICS code 423830, with a size standard of no more than 100 Employees. See the attached RFQ for a of the items to be provided. The required delivery date is 25Jan2011. All parts will be delivered to the NOAA Ship Oscar Dyson at 1801 Fairview Ave E, SEattle, WA 98102. The provision at FAR 52.212-1, Instructions to Offerors-Commercial, applies to this acquisition. Award will be made on a Firm Fixed Price basis, to the lowest responsible Offerror. All Quotes are to be accompanied by a a completed copy of the provision at 52.212-3, Offeror Representations and Certifications-Commercial Items. The clause at 52.212-4, Contract Terms and Conditions-Commercial Items, applies to this acquisition. The clause at 52.212-5, Contract Terms and Conditions Required To Implement Statutes or Executive Orders-Commercial Items, applies to this acquisition (attached). Any additional clauses that apply to this contract are marked. All responses are due to the person/address below by 12:00 Noon PST on 29Nov2010. Responses may be mailed, faxed, or emailed.
