Description

The Southwest Regional Maintenance Center- (SWRMC) intends to execute an order under basic ordering agreement N00024-10-G-4304 or N00024-10-G-4305 for Engineering, Material, and Technical Services in support of USS HAMPTON ((SSN-767) here with an estimated period of performance from 24 NOV 2010 through 03 DEC 2010. The two potential prime contractors are: Electric Boat Corporation, A General Dynamics Company, located at 75 Eastern Point Road, Groton, CT 06340-4989 (BOA 4304), and Northrop Grumman Shipbuilding, (4101 Washington Avenue, Newport News, VA 23607-2770 (BOA 4305) This order will be issued pursuant to 10 USC 2304(c)(1). The proposed agreement action is for supplies or services for which the Government intends to solicit under the authority of FAR 6.303 utilizing Class J&A numbers 40,744 and 40,788. This notice of intent is not a request for proposals. Companies interested in subcontracting opportunities should contact Electric Boat or Northrop Grumman Shipbuilding directly.
